The external assistant-ornithologist made his second field trip on 7-12/12/2012 and submitted a full report. During his field trip he found Brown Bear footprints (documented with photos and GPS coordinates), possibly indicating an overwintering animal. The next field trip is scheduled for January 2013.

The external assistant who will create the project website has been selected, the relevant contract has been signed, and the project manager has provided all the necessary documents and texts for the development of project’s webpage.

The Partnership Agreement of the project between the HSPN and the Region of Sterea Ellada has been signed. A copy of the Grant Agreement was sent to the Managing Body of Oiti National Park and arrangements have been made to present the project in detail to the Board of Directors of the Managing Body during their next session.

The scientific coordinator of the project has prepared a list with similar LIFE projects for networking. Contact has already been established with the project manager of LIFE09 NAT/IT/000099 "SICALECONS – Urgent actions for the conservation of the Sicilian Rock Partridge, Alectoris graeca whitakeri”.
