A 3-person team from the Geology & Geoenvironment Faculty of the UoA visited the areas of the seven ponds included in the project, in order to examine access difficulties and potential problems regarding equipment transportation and installation. During this 2-day visit a GPS tracking log of the route was created and geographic locations of water and soil-sampling sites were recorded and inserted in the GIS for location map production.
